Mondays, 9-10 am EST: Mindful Breath and Movement (all levels)

Wednesdays, 9 -10 am EST: Mindful Breath and Movement (all levels)

Mondays, 7-8pm EST: Flow and Unwind Yoga

Suggested fee per class: $10.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy offers a holistic approach to health and healing that engages the mind, the body, and the spirit in the journey toward well-being. Combining tools and knowledge from Western allopathic medicine, yoga, and Ayurveda, yoga therapy offers a comprehensive platform of care empowering individuals to participate in their own healing. 

 

As a certified yoga therapist, Anna Beth works closely with her clients to assess their specific needs and utilize various yoga-based movement practices, breath work, meditation and mindfulness techniques to guide them toward a state of greater wellness and resilience.

 

Yoga therapy is effective in treating a wide range of physiological and psychological concerns including anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, musculoskeletal-skeletal imbalances or injuries, and the preservation of whole-hearted living at every age.

" It's not often that you can say, without any hyperbole, that your yoga instructor saved your life. I can. When I started working with Anna Beth a couple of years ago, my body was in such a state of pain and dis-use that it was becoming difficult to do my job or perform basic day to day functions. Anna Beth was able to slowly and painstakingly tease out the Gordian knot of over-used and under-supported muscles in my body. Now, I can touch the floor, lie on my back and EVEN do sun salutations (which I was sure I'd never be able to do again)!  It's not just my body that she saved, though. Through thoughtful practice, mantra and breath exercises, I was able to remember how to be at peace with my soul and comfortable in my skin.

 

Anna Beth's extensive knowledge and creativity allowed her to tailor every session to whatever I needed that day. From the early days where I could barely come up off the floor, to the days when one specific area of my body was begging for ease, she found ways to not only focus on those needs but to incorporate all of the supporting needs as well.
