Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
IMG_8810.jpg

This alignment-focused class is geared toward practitioners of all levels. Classes are built around an exploration of a peak pose or action. Using sun salutations to coordinate breath and movement and to build strength, the practices incorporate targeted warm-ups, props, and variations of the peak poses in order to gain a fuller experience of the poses’ benefits.

Chair Yoga

This gentle practice is appropriate for all individuals and is especially good for mature students and those working with an injury or medical condition.  Utilizing a chair for support throughout the class, practitioners move through a series of seated and standing postures and pranayama exercises that emphasize balance, build strength, and encourage mindfulness.

Postpartum Yoga

Postpartum yoga creates a practice that nourishes new parents and gives them tools to navigate the challenges of caring for a new baby. The physical postures and down-regulating practices are specifically chosen to support postpartum recovery, facilitating strength, balance, and ease in your whole being.

Private or Semi-Private Classes

Private classes are available in person or via Zoom. These sessions are ideal for creating a personal yoga practice customized to your specific needs and schedule.

"Anna Beth’s teaching style is both playful and contemplative, equally attuned to anatomy and the breath, to the heart and spirit. Every class is different, yet she builds on prior classes and themes so as to ground both new and experienced practitioners in a thoughtful context. Anna Beth offers a practice that is gentle, fun, patient and attuned, while also sharing her own process with honesty and a sense of humor. Bonus: amazing musical sensibility and knowledge- integrated in just the right way!" - JP
